Cubex QXR 920

The Cubex QXR 920 is a diesel-powered, track-mounted surface drill rig designed for efficient Down-The-Hole (DTH) drilling in mining and construction applications. Equipped with a Caterpillar C15 engine, it delivers substantial power for demanding drilling tasks. The rig is capable of drilling holes ranging from 115 mm to 216 mm (4.5 to 8.5 inches) in diameter, with a maximum depth of approximately 42.7 meters (140 feet) without reloading the carousel, and greater depths achievable with reloading. Its robust rotary head offers a rotation torque of 5,730 Nm and a variable rotation speed up to 80 RPM, ensuring efficient penetration in various rock formations. The QXR 920 features a six-rod carousel accommodating drill pipes up to 5 inches in diameter and 6 meters (20 feet) in length, facilitating extended drilling operations with minimal downtime.
